SEMPO event

June, 27th (Wed) /2nd event of June

I participated in SEMPO event at Michigan Theater. I met great marketers who work at several companies involving Pure Visibility(a famous local company specialized in SEO). I firstly met with Linda Girard, one of co-founder at Pure Visibility. She is so energetic! :) And, I talked to Chris Boggs, a speaker of this event. He gave me much information and good advice to get a job .

Five SEMPO main members spoke about each career and digital marketing. And main speaker, Chris mentioned digital marketing using Google.

If you are a marketer, SEMPO is great resource and opportunity for networking, even though the cost to join membership is sort of expensive. I strongly recommend to join this event.

This presentation was very impressing to me because two graduated students who took the search marketing class in the past gave us this speech. what an energetic presentation it is! you can refer to video :

There were so many questions from people during the presentation. Speakers are passionate about digital marketing and they established their own company to help SEO for small and medium companies in Ann Arbor! I am very proud of them that they graduated from my college.

It was first time to visit in LA2M. It was good to know that I can know the recent trends about digital marketing, while we have a lunch together. I could meet many marketing professionals who is working in Ann Arbor area. Most of all, today's speaker was very impressing. She is very passionate about what she is doing. After her presentation, I realized how important visual storytelling is.
